About the project
This eTwinning project brings students together as climate champions working to build a sustainable future. It fosters global awareness of the climate crisis's impacts and cultivates active citizenship by teaching grassroots solutions. Students are encouraged to play their part, however small, in caring for our planet. Active participation is a vital aspect of the project's objective to transform awareness into constructive action.

‘The Tantrum that Saved the World’
In “THE TANTRUM THAT SAVED THE WORLD”, Australian writer and illustrator Megan Herbert and renowned climate scientist Michael E. Mann collaborated on a remarkable children's book. In this story, a little girl takes action to save the world by channelling tantrum power into positive action toward the climate crisis.

The "Climate Champions" collaborative story highlights the importance of taking action against environmental degradation to create a sustainable future.
The book features ‘climate champions’ from each partner school who join the Climate Champions club and get involved in environmental actions in their communities.

Climate Champions cookbook
The 'Climate Champions' cookbook is composed of traditional recipes from all partner schools and promotes healthy and sustainable eating and cooking.
Choosing to eat locally grown, seasonal produce benefits our health and the environment.
Eating local foods can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by decreasing the need for shipping and transportation of food.
Check out these little chefs! The sixth-grade squad whipped up some mouthwatering traditional Greek dishes, all while keeping it eco-friendly!
Climate Champions ‘Green’ Challenge: A Green Future is a Bright Future!
The students from our partner schools have transformed into true Climate Champions. They comprehend that even minor actions can greatly affect the environment. Taking the lead, they engage in "green actions" to create more eco-friendly schools and communities for everyone.
Earth Day 2024
Earth Day is an annual, international event held on 22nd April. It aims to raise awareness for our planet and the environmental challenges it faces. It is an opportunity for people to show their support for the environment and come together to take action to help protect the Earth.
